Make the switch to tech with IMDA’s TIPP
Cut your costs, not your potential.
With support from IMDA’s Tech Immersion and Placement Programme (TIPP), you don’t have to take the leap alone. Designed for mid-career professionals, TIPP makes it easier for Singapore Citizens and PRs to reskill, rebuild, and relaunch their careers in tech—with financial support, hands-on training, and a strong portfolio to show for it.

SkillsFuture funding
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents can enjoy substantial course fee subsidies for SSG-approved courses. Eligible individuals may receive up to 70% funding support on course fees, making it more affordable to upskill or reskill into tech.
This government initiative is part of Singapore’s national effort to build a future-ready workforce, empowering individuals to gain in-demand digital skills without financial strain.

Maximise your funding options
In addition to TIPP or SSG, you may also apply your SkillsFuture Credits and PSEA Funds to further reduce your bootcamp fees. If you are a NTUC or NTUC Starter member, you are also eligible for course-fee support.
SkillsFuture Credit
All Singapore Citizens age 25 and older can use their SGD 500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for approved skills-related courses. This credit can be used to offset fees of eligible GA programmes.
Note: The SGD 4,000 Mid-Career Credit top-up is generally not applicable for GA bootcamps.
PSEA Funds (Post-Secondary Education Account)
If you have funds in your PSEA, you may be able to use them to offset course fees for eligible General Assembly programmes.
Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)
For UTAP-supported courses, NTUC members get 50% off the remaining course fees (after any government subsidy) — up to $250 a year, or up to $500 a year if you’re aged 40+. NTUC Starter members get 50% off, capped at $200.
